How do I pay rent?
Rent is paid online at this website. Simply click the link to “Pay Rent” and follow the prompts. No processing fee for e-check is charged to you - It’s FREE!
My parents want to pay my rent, how do they do that?
Your parents will make out a check or money order to The Campus Edge, LLC and in the memo line, make sure they have your name, your rental address, and what the payment is for. They will send all payments to our office at 117 E. Charles Suite 201 Muncie, IN 47304
what if i need something fixed in my apartment?
All maintenance requests must be submitted online from this website. Simply click the link “Maintenance Request” and complete the form. The submission will notify Maintenance and management of your request. We will then schedule a time with you to make the repair needed. If the request is a legitimate emergency, you may also call the property manager directly at 765-286-2806.
HOW LONG IS MY LEASE TERM?
All of our leases have a 12-month standard lease term.
HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT? IS THE DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE?
The deposit varies per property. The deposit is due when signing the lease. The deposit is refundable minus our standard cleaning fee that is taken out of all deposits. Please refer to the lease agreement for more information about deposit refunds.
WHEN IS MY RENT DUE AND WHAT IS THE LATE FEE POLICY?
Rent is due in full on the 1st of each month. However, we do provide a 4 day grace period so as long as your rent is received by the end of the day on the 5th of the month you will not be charged a late fee. Any rent paid after the 5th of the month will be assessed a $10 per day late fee beginning from the 1st of the month. Ex: Rent paid on the 6th will be assessed a $60 late fee (6 days * $10/day = $60). Please refer to our sample lease agreement found on the home page for more information about this policy.
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Yes. If you would like a pet; you would need to: Sign our “Pet Agreement,” pay a $200 non-refundable pet deposit, and pay a $30 per month pet fee. No pets are allowed on the property without first obtaining written permission from Management.
WHAT IF I WANT OUT OF MY LEASE AGREEMENT EARLY?
Our leases are a binding contract and do not have an option to end the lease early. You would have the option to sub-lease your Campus Edge home with written permission from Management.
CAN I SMOKE IN THE APARTMENT OR HOUSE?
No smoking is allowed inside any Campus Edge property, or within 10 feet of the dwelling.
HOW DO I SET UP MY ACCOUNT WITH THE UTILITY COMPANY(S)?
You will need to call the utility company to setup your account for the service(s). Service need to be set up at least 4 days prior to your lease start date. The phone numbers for each utility company are listed under the “Resources” tab of this site. Refer to your lease regarding which utilities you are responsible to pay.
HOW DO I WRITE A CHECK AND WHO DO I MAKE THE CHECK OUT TO?
All checks and money orders are made out to The Campus Edge, LLC. To fill out a check: on the "PAY TO THE ORDER OF" line write "The Campus Edge, LLC". Next, write the amount the check is for by the "$" sign. On the line where "DOLLARS" is at the end, write out in word form the amount of money the check is for. On the "MEMO" line write your name (if it is not printed on the check, your rental address, and what the payment is for. Lastly, sign the check.
